Chest of Gold

The Chest of Gold was a bride gift for a woman in Helios from Medios, who was the father of Philemon, whom she was to marry. The Chest was given to Hercules, Jason and Pythagoras to carry across the desert on their journey to Helios alongside his son in order to keep it safe. During their journey, Baucis succeeded in escaping with the chest on a horse, unaware that Jason had previously removed the contents to keep on his person. (The Furies)
